DESCRIPTION:
Tractography protocol definition: MdLF was seeded in the anterior part of the superior frontal gyrus (SFG) (Makris et al., 2009). For the MdLF, large axial and coronal planes covering the WM in the temporo-parietal-occipital junction were used as targets, based on anatomical descriptions from (Makris et al., 2013). For both protocols, exclusion masks where placed axially through the brainstem, coronally through the fornix, axially through the cingulum bundle posterior to the corpus callosum and through the entire frontal cortex. In addition, the seed mask of MdLF served as an exclusion mask for ILF and vice versa, and the ILF target mask was used as an exclusion mask in the MdLF. (Warrington et al., NeuroImage, 2020)
