HCP-Young Adult 2025 includes updated processing on previously released 3T and 7T imaging data including spatial and temporal ICA and bias field correction on all fMRI data. We have repackaged the data to match packages released for the HCP Lifespan projects. HCP-YA includes high-resolution 3T MR scans from young healthy adult twins and non-twin siblings (ages 22-35) using four imaging modalities: structural images (T1w and T2w), resting state fMRI, task fMRI, and diffusion imaging. Processed data are available for 1071 subjects. We have removed processed data for subjects with processing errors and/or without a complete rfMRI run to enable MSMAll registration. Unprocessed data are available for all subjects with imaging data (1113 subjects). MEG data and 7T MR data are available for a subset of subjects (twin pairs). Phenotypic data are available on all subjects. The Open Access Dataset includes imaging data and most behavioral data. To protect subject privacy, some of the data (e.g., exact age, which subjects are twins) are part of a Restricted Access dataset that requires an application.

HCP-Young Adult Retest 2025 data underwent the same updated processing and repackaging as HCP-YA 2025. 46 HCP subjects were retested using the full HCP-YA 3T multimodal imaging and behavioral protocol. The retest data are released as a separate project to fully distinguish them from the first visit. Retest subjects retain the same Subject ID numbers as in the HCP-YA project. Note: Be sure to keep any Retest data separate in your local repository. Downloaded data from the Retest project will unpack exactly as from the HCP-YA 2025 project. Be careful not to overwrite a subject’s first visit data with their second visit Retest data!

AABC Release 1 includes cross-sectional (V1) and longitudinal (V2, V3) 3T MR scans and non-imaging data from 1248 healthy older adults (ages 36-90+) in the HCP-Aging (HCA) and Aging Adult Brain Connectome (AABC) projects. This includes data for 1248 V1, 762 V2, and 236 V3 in-person visits. It includes preprocessed and unprocessed imaging data for all included modalities (structural, high-res hippocampal T2 [unprocessed only], resting state fMRI, task fMRI, diffusion, and ASL) on 1248 participants in 2214 imaging visits. It includes non-imaging data collected over a broad range of domains at imaging visits and in remote follow up surveys (non-imaging events). 7 T Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) data are available for 138 participants. Multi-modal Imaging Derived Phenotypes (IDPs) are available for participants with imaging data.
