RSA searchlight validations

DESCRIPTION:
To assess the robustness of the RSA results, we repeated the full RSA analyses using alternative distance metrics, including Euclidean distances computed from z-normalised component scores and Mahalanobis distances, to estimate the structure of pairwise image relationships in the low-dimensional aesthetic space (SFig. 15). Multiple comparisons correction and autocorrelation across searchlights were performed using a permutation-based TFCE approach.

We also repeated the cortical RSA searchlight analyses using searchlight sizes ranging from 10 to 40 vertices in increments of 10 (SFig. 16). Multiple comparisons correction and autocorrelation across searchlights were performed using a permutation-based TFCE approach.
