ABSTRACT:
Showing Group ICA Maps from resting state fMRI data obtained from S1200 HCP data (https://www.humanconnectome.org/study/hcp-young-adult/article/release-s1200-extensively-processed-rfmri-data). Images show a network obtained at dimensionality of 10 networks (top left), compared with all spatially related networks obtained at a higher dimensionality (200). The aim is to illustrate how independent component analysis breaks down rfMRI networks when the researcher-set dimensionality increases. This was used for educational purposes in the HCP Course and in the OHBM educational sessions (2019). For more information please feel free to contact me at janine.bijsterbosch@wustl.edu
